My Cousin Greg was commissioned to construct a close but not exact (copyright issues) rendition of the Vietnam War Memorial by the Harriman American Legion. “The Three Soldiers” memorial will be housed at the ‘David Webb Riverfront Park’ , as a tribute to the Roane County Vietnam veterans. The memorial, believed to be the only “full size” replica in the state, if not anywhere outside Washington D.C., will be placed in the park’s war memorial area near the present fountain. Long term plans are to place other memorials from America’s other wars in this area as money and support comes along.
